What is electrolysis

Electrolysis is a permanent hair removal method that works regardless of hair colour or skin tone.

How it works

The specialist inserts a very fine, sterile probe into the natural opening of the hair follicle, without piercing the skin. A brief pulse of current destroys the hair's growth zone, and the hair is lifted out with tweezers, effortlessly.

Each hair is treated individually, which makes the method exceptionally precise, ideal for shaping brows, defining the bikini line or removing single facial hairs.

Why electrolysis instead of laser?

Laser targets pigment, so it can't remove blonde, red or grey hair, and it becomes less effective on darker skin. Electrolysis has none of these limits.

  • Works on blonde, red, grey and vellus hair
  • Safe for every skin phototype
  • Removes single hairs and allows precise shaping
  • Results are permanent: a destroyed follicle doesn't grow back

How many sessions do you need?

Hair grows in cycles, and only part of it is visible at any given time. That's why a series of treatments is needed: usually over 1.5–2 years, with visits a few weeks apart, depending on the area, hair density and hormonal balance. With each visit there's less hair and sessions get shorter.

Does it hurt?

Most people describe it as a light prick or a sensation of warmth. We adjust the current to your sensitivity, and for delicate areas you can bring your own numbing cream. Most clients are surprised by how comfortable it is.
